In Transit: Bangkok

Arrived in Bangkok safe and sound with a relatively smooth flight.  Thank you, dear God and thank you, Air Asia. After all those horrible aviation rules, it was such a relief to have a good flight. The waiting time for the taxi service at Don Meuang was an hour so I took the shuttle (30 baht) to Mo Chit BTS then transferred  lines until I got on the Airport Train Line for Ramkhanghaeng where Nasa Vegas Hotel was. Very convenient,  except that I was lugging around my BIG bag made heavy with all the music instruments.

Spent the evening at Asiateque, Bangkok’s newest dining-entertainment-shopping complex. Makes for a nice stroll. Finished the night at Silom just walking down memory lane. Being a Tuesday, it was quiet.
