The Temples of the South

When I told my e-bike driver last night that I was going out again the next day, he was surprised. I guess not too many people spend more than two days traipsing around Bagan. This morning,  he brought me to the ones on the southern plain. I think this area is my favorite.  There aren’t too many people.

Step inside and it’s cinematic. Only the sound of pigeons.

The wall and ceiling paintings in these Southern temples are gorgeous.

With not too many people visiting, you can have a me time.
